When you join the waitlist, we collect only the details you choose to share through the waitlist form, which may include:

• Your name (parent or guardian)
• Your email address
• Your province or territory
• Your child's grade level
• Subjects you are interested in

We may also collect limited, standard technical information (such as your browser type and general region) to keep the website working and secure. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the waitlist.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Send you early updates about SkillTrail's progress
• Tell you about beta opportunities and launch details
• Understand where demand is strongest so we can prioritise grades, subjects, and provinces
• Respond to questions you send us

We do not sell your personal information. We only use it for the purposes described here.

4. How we store and protect it

We use reputable service providers to store waitlist information and apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to your information to people who need it to operate the waitlist.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the waitlist and send updates (for example, email delivery), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where required by law.

You can unsubscribe from SkillTrail updates at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you provided by emailing support@skilltrail.app.

7. Children’s privacy

The waitlist is intended for parents and guardians, not for children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

As SkillTrail moves toward launch, this policy will change. When it does, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
